Importance Of Memorizing Quran

Narrated by Abu Huraira (R.A) that Prophet (S.A.W.W) said,

"Quran will appear on the day of resurrection and say O Lord! gratify the possessor of Quran, hence the possessor of Quran will be crowned. Then Quran will say O Lord! gratify him more, the possessor of Quran will be covered with valuable dress. Then Quran will again say O Lord! be pleased with him, then Allah will be pleased with him and say, recite and proceed, and a deed will be given to the possessor in return of each Ayah"
(Tirmizi & Hakim)

This means that Quran will request Allah for the possessor, and in some Ahadees, Quran will argue Allah to accept his request and bestow the possessor with respect and blessing. Then Allah will accept the request.

Hazrat Ma'az (R.A) narrated from Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W):

"One who recites Quran and practises it, on the doom's day, his parents will be crowned which will be glowing more than the Sun, if that Sun appears in your homes today. Then what do you think of a person who practises Quran himself."
(Ahmed, Abu Dawood)

This will be the reward and honour for Hafiz-e-Quran and his family, Parents will be rewarded because they are the cause of his existence and are source of his Hifz.

Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) said,

"One who recited Quran, memorised it and considered what is Halal and what is Haram according to Quran, Allah (S.W.T) will send him in Jannat and his recommendation will be accepted for his 10 family members who are ordained to go to Hell."
(Ahmad & Tarmizi)

This Hadees shows the position/worth of Hafiz-e-Quran and it is also shown that the reward for Hafiz is not only limited to his personality, but also for his family.
